About the family

Greenkunja is our family home and guesthouse in Kunjalapur, a farming village in Tilottama, between Butwal and Bhairahawa in southern Nepal.

We opened with one double room with a terrace over the rice fields. Two more rooms are on the way. Breakfast is included, and we cook it ourselves.

Who we are

Our family has worked with travellers for a long time. Khem “Babu” Khadaka has driven travellers across India and Nepal since 1996. He founded GoIndiaNepal, a private car-with-driver tour company for India and Nepal, which the family still runs.

That is why we know the roads around here so well: to Lumbini, to Gautam Buddha International Airport, to the Sunauli border, up to Tansen and on to Pokhara. It is also why we write the travel guides in our journal. They are the answers we give travellers every day.
